Changes I have made:
Front page: Made the fonts of the cover lines smaller and the 'Free downloads' smaller as well so it doesn't take away the focus of the main cover line. I added a website under the masthead to add to branding.
Contents page: I aligned everything, fixed the page numbers; made them smaller. I added branded on the left hand side. I put it there so It can be seen easily. I made the 'regulars' smaller.
DPS: I changed the font colour of the questions to differentiate between questions and the answers, I changed the alignment of the text so it can be read better. I changed the pull quote, I felt that it was too long and got in the way, so I shortened it and placed it right at the bottom. I added the same branding as the contents page to make it look professional. I also added the signature of the artist to make it more original and different to all the other pages.
Front Cover: I really like the front cover, the colour scheme you have used goes really well with your genre. You have chosen a good shot of the model which is appropriate for the front cover. Your masthead is different but stands out and works well with everything else on the front cover. Your cover-lines are clear and I like how you have used alternate colours for each of the cover-lines.
ReplyDeleteContents Page: I like the use and placement of your images. You have used quite a lot of images which makes it seem like there is a lot of content. I like how you have kept the font style and font colour from the front cover consistent.
Double-Page Spread: I really like the image you have used as it is appropriate for a DPS. The pull quote you have used stands out and the autograph on the image is a good idea. I think that the amount of text you have used is suitable for your target audience. I also like how you have kept your font consistent.

Front cover - Your front cover is well designed, the image you have used looks professional. I feel as if the barcode should have been straight as it may make the magazine look a bit messy.

Double page spread - I really like your dps. The image looks really good and the signature makes it look more professional, you have clear branding at the top left and the pull quote on the image looks good.
